John Bieganek, 12 years old, aims his Savage Mark II long barrel rifle at the privately owned weapons range held on Fort Carson’s Range 1, Sept. 22, 2012. The POW Range allowed Beiganek, who has shot before, to practice with this weapon for the first time. The event was open to service members and their dependents ages 10 years and above, Department of the Army civilians, retirees and contractors. The POW range is held every third Saturday of the month, January through October.
