Firing

Staff Sgt. Matthew Macatangga, communications chief, 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, fires his weapon during a privately owned weapons range event held on Fort Carson’s Range 1, Sept. 22, 2012. The POW range provided safeties, free targets and an opportunity to become more familiar with shooting privately owned weapons. The event was open to service members and their dependents ages 10 years and above, Department of the Army civilians, retirees and contractors. The POW range is held every third Saturday of the month, January through October.
