Cox has been a role-player for several year and says the “shock and awe value of using people” will prepare service members for the unpredictability of a disaster. Whether training to go overseas or for a domestic catastrophe, as with Vibrant Response 13, service members benefit from using real people as training aids. Vibrant response 13 is a major field training exercise conducted by U.S. Northern Command and led by U.S. Army North.
