Soldiers from all three squadrons of the 10th Cavalry Regiment, stand in a united formation as they await morning reveille before embarking on a regimental run in honor of 146th birthday celebration of the regiment, July 26, 2012. The unit held a regimental run followed by a cake cutting ceremony in celebration of the unit’s extensive history. The leaders of the unit used this opportunity to instill the traditions and values of the cavalry into their soldiers, speaking of unit cohesion and honoring the unit’s Medal of Honor recipients.
