An engineer assigned to the 178th Engineer Company from Fort Polk, La., fireman carries a mannequin, posing as a 'survivor' of a simulated nuclear-blast, through the wreckage of a collapsed parking garage during a Vibrant Response 13 field training exercise in Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind., July 26. During the simulated training exercise, rescue technicians from the 178th Engineer Company. demonstrated their search and extraction capabilities by treating and evacuating role-players and mannequins posing as 'survivors' of a man-made disaster-training venue.
