Dennis Hejlik, commanding general of Marine Forces Europe and Marine Corps Forces Command, salutes the Marines of the parade as the march passed in review during his retirement ceremony at Marine Barracks Washington July 23. Hejlik was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal during the ceremony for 44 years of dedicated service to Corps and country.
