Spc. Stephen Coleman from Hamden holds on while being lowered to the ground, July 8, at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe. Coleman, a member of the Ohio National Guard’s 1194th Engineer Company, is participating in a multi-part training exercise, to include rope rescue techniques. Coleman and other members of the 1194th are being taught the concepts of rope rescue as part of a week of training to become members of the search and extraction team of the Ohio National Guard’s Homeland Response Force.
