Using only breaker bars and wood, soldiers from the Chillicothe based 1194th Engineer Company attempt to raise 2000- pound block more than three feet off the ground, July 7, at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe, Ohio. The soldiers are being taught the concepts of mechanical advantage as part of their training for the Search and Extraction team of Ohio’s Homeland Response Force. The Homeland Response Force is one of 10 organizations nationally that can respond to a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear disaster.
