Pipe Creek, Texas native Capt. Robert Richardson, right, commander, and 1st Sgt. The range was named in honor of Richardson and Mouton's Soldier, Staff Sgt. Jeremy W. Mulhair, Sr., a Alpha Troop platoon sergeant, who hailed from Omaha, Neb. and was killed Nov. 30 after his humvee was struck by an improvised explosive device in the village of Ash Shulah, Iraq.
