Col. Paul E. Funk II, commander, 1st 'Ironhorse' Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, speaks to troopers from the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment during the dedication of the newly opened Mulhair Range on Camp Taji, Iraq, Oct. 2. The range was named in honor of Omaha, Neb. native Staff Sgt. Jeremy W. Mulhair, Sr., a platoon sergeant for Alpha Troop, 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, who was killed, Nov. 30, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in the village of Ash Shulah, Iraq.
