A formation of U.S. and coalition forces fly together and prepare to join the counter-attack at hand as part of the main event of Eager Lion 12. The counter-attack is a simulated scenario in which coalition partners and US must demonstrate the air and land capabilities at their disposal, while at the same time working as a combined force and securing the mock objective. Eager Lion is an irregular warfare-themed exercise focusing on missions that our coalition partners might perform during operational deployments in support of global contingency operations.
