King Abdullah II of Jordan (arms folded) surrounded by dignitaries and representatives of coalition partners watched the main event of Exercise Eager Lion 12, May 24. The simulated counterattack demonstrated the combined forces’ air and ground capabilities and the ability of the US and coalition partners to work together and accomplish an objective successfully. Eager Lion is an irregular warfare-themed exercise focusing on missions that our coalition partners might perform during operational deployments in support of global contingency operations.
