Capt. Ronald Oswald, commanding officer, Naval Operational Support Center Port Hueneme, Calif., compares experiences with Lt. Cmdr. Larry Mullen, USN retired, as he presents a flag pin during the Spirit of ’45 Memorial Day celebration. To kick off the Memorial Day weekend, veterans residing at Atria Los Posas Senior Group Living were honored by currently serving military from NOSC Port Hueneme. The Spirit of ’45 event was organized by Atria and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care to pay tribute to World War II veterans.
