Members of the Search and Extraction Team from the PR-CERFP pull a “victim” through more than 50 feet of buried-under-rubble tunnel in order to pull him to safety during the Vigilant Guard Exercise in Salem, Ore. The Puerto Rico National Guard Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Enhanced Response Force Package underwent emergency response training, called Vigilant Guard, in which they sharpened their emergency assistance skills. The PR CERFP is comprised of airmen and soldiers from different units, but the majority of them are from the 1st Battalion, 65th Infantry Regiment.
