Staff Sgt. Justin Petrone, an engineer with the 508th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, guides the positioning of a rapidly emplaceable bridge in Zharay district, Afghanistan, May 10. The bridge was dropped the night before by another team of engineers onto an existing dirt bridge used for road construction. The new, but temporary, bridge will support heavy construction vehicles as a defensive wall is built in the area.
