Pfc. Caleb Gomez, Second Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), Combat Camera, photographs Iraqi children who are asking for soccer ball in Al Fallujah, Iraq, Sept. 5. Marines are assisting Iraqi police in the distribution of food and soccer balls by proving transportation and security. II MEF is deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market-based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
