Marines with Echo Company, Second Battalion, Sixth Marines (E 2/6) prepare for an mission at an Iraqi police station in Al Fallujah, Iraq, Sept. 5. The Marines of E 2/6 are conducting operations at the station in order to train IPs to better perform their duties. The group is deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market-based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
