Recruit Nicholas Wancha, Platoon 1073, Company D, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, demonstrates on Recruit Kurt Hauser, Plt. 1073 guide, Company D, 1st RTBn., how to properly carry an injuried comrade during Combat Care IV class April 11 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. Recruits were taught the proper ways to carry fellow comrades on the battlefield during a three hour class. These carries will help recruits to save a life some day.
