Capt. Lambrato Mathurin, follow series commander, Company B, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, inspects Recruit Landen Dickey, Platoon 1035 guide, Company B, 1st RTBn., desert combat utility uniform April 9 aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. Mathurin was looking for cleanilness of the M-16 A4 service rifle, properly pressed and worn uniforms and basic Marine Corps knowledge.
