Marines take aim at third straight Warrior Games Title

U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl.   • Lance Cpl. Matthew Roach from Appomattox, Va., will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo., April 30-May 5. Roach, 21, will compete in track and field. 
Roach is currently assigned to Wounded Warrior Battalion West, Hawaii Detachment, where he is recovering from improvised explosive device blast injuries. Roach says he is participating in the games to get motivated and have fun. More than 200 wounded, ill or injured service members from the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations Command are scheduled to compete in the Paralympic-style competition.
