U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Matthew Roach, Wounded Warrior Battalion-West, detachment Hawaii, takes aim with his bow during a training session April 6, 2012, at the archery range on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Roach was on a foot patrol in Helmand Province, Afghanistan Feb. 16, 2010 when his team leader stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device three feet in front of him. Roach will compete in the 2012 Warrior Games in Sit down volleyball, Discus, and Archery.
