Camp Blanding Joint Training Center's main gate was the scene of several simulated explosions, March 19, 2012, as part of Exercise Quiet Fury, an exercise to evaluate the force protection at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center and evaluate the unified response and coordination between local emergency responders and the Camp Blanding military police force. The exercise was a complex scenario involving an active shooter and will help Camp Blanding to improve its force protection and emergency management capabilities.
