Armed Forces of Liberia’s Maj. Daniel Ziankahn, deputy to the assistant chief of staff for operations, Headquarters Armed Forces of Liberia, addresses coworkers, families and guests on behalf of all newly promoted individuals during a promotion ceremony at Barclay Training Center in Monrovia, Liberia, Feb. 20. Ziankahn was one of two AFL personnel to be promoted to the rank of major during the latest promotion cycle, in which a total of 565 personnel were promoted. Ziankahn is a 2011 graduate of the U.S. Army Command and Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
