Armed Forces of Liberia’s 1st Lt. Dessaline Allison, left, chaplain and public affairs officer, Headquarters Armed Forces of Liberia, is presented his new rank by AFL Col. Aaron Johnson, Armed Forces of Liberia deputy chief of staff, during a promotion ceremony at Barclay Training Center in Monrovia, Liberia, Feb. 20. Allison was one of 565 AFL personnel to be promoted during the most recent promotion cycle. In addition to being the ranking public affairs officer, Allison is the only chaplain within the AFL.
