Wesley Updegraff, an assistant fitness manager with Marine Corps Community Services, times Sgt. John L. Sampson, the force deployment chief with I Marine Expeditionary Force, during a fitness challenge at the 21 Area Fitness Center at Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 6. Marine Corps Community Services provide Marines with competitions, personal trainers and workout groups to give them opportunities to test their skills and seek improvement through competitiveness. Updegraff hopes that more Marines will take interest in competitions like this one.
