Tech. Sgt. Bradley Mercer, 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron, prepares a flash point tester Feb. 14. The flash point test will give the exact temperature in which jet fuel ignites by the use of fire. JP-8 jet fuel has a flash point around fifty degrees Celsius, this less volatile fuel allows for better.
