Tech. Sgt. Bradley Mercer, 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron, fills an apparatus with JP-8 jet fuel Feb. 14. JP-8 is a high grade jet fuel that burns cleaner than diesel. Cleaner fuels are needed for aircraft to keep the fuselage clean for better performance.
