Electronics Technician 2nd Class James Johnston, originally from Kaneohe, Hawaii, chops away on the snow sculpture he's helping to create with the Navy Misawa snow sculpting team. The team traveled from Naval Air Facility Misawa to Sapporo in order to build their annual snow sculpture, while representing Naval Air Facility Misawa during the 63rd Annual Sapporo Snow Festival. This is the 29th year Navy Misawa has sent a team to take part in this festival.
