Trucks with M1A2 Abrams Tanks leave here for Camp Buehring to deliver equipment issued from 402d Army Field Support Brigade to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, 2nd Battalion, 8th Regiment, Jan. 20. The 2/8 CAV received over 1,000 rolling and 2,000 non-rolling items from the 402d AFSB-K. Some of the issued equipment includes M2 .50-caliber machine guns, Bradley Fighting Vehicles and M1A2 Abrams Tanks. Through strategic equipment placement, Third Army is ensuring that it is prepared to provide support to our allied nations in the event that our help is needed.
