First Lt. Matthew Kasenow, executive officer, D Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and native of Evansville, Ind., inspects an M2 .50-caliber machine gun before he signs for weapons being transferred to his unit here Jan 18. Kasenow and his soldiers also inspected and signed for several M-240B machine guns. Third Army is transitioning for tomorrow by ensuring the transfer of equipment to 1st Cavalry goes smoothly and efficiently.
