Mikio Shimoji, member of the Japanese House of Representatives, People’s New Party for Okinawa district one, boards an MV-22B Osprey for his first flight in the aircraft, Jan. 19. Japanese dignitaries visited the air station to learn more about the aircraft before 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, based out of Okinawa, Japan, receives its first Osprey.
