Seven airmen and their families from the 108th Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard and the 87th Air Base Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., attended a holiday event with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and his wife Mary-Pat at the governor's mansion Drumthwacket in Princeton, N.J., Dec. 21, 2011. While there and to the members surprise, each family received a $1,000 gift card from Wal-Mart. The gift cards were donated to the Freedom Alliance which in turn presented them to the airmen.
