More than 3000 soldiers began waiting in line at 1:30 a.m. with a toy for donation with a hopeful exchange for one of the 300 manifest tickets available for Toy Drop, Dec. 9, at the Green Ramp on Pope Air Force Base, N.C. for a chance to earn foreign jump wings. Hosted by U.S. Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), the 14th Randy Oler Memorial Operation Toy Drop is the largest combined airborne operation in the world.
