Spc. Gregory Gourdeau, from Chesapeake, Va., reviews reorganized cables at Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan. Gourdeau, deployed with the Virginia Army National Guard 116th Stonewall Brigade, was a team leader for a massive network improvement project nicknamed “Cablepalooza.” 50,000 feet of cable were replaced by 17 soldiers working round-the-clock for nine days.
