Fifty-thousand feet of network cables at Forward Operating Base Lagman, Afghanistan, were replaced in a nine-day effort nicknamed “Cablepalooza” by Virginia Army National Guard 116th Stonewall Brigade soldiers. On the left is a before picture of a “spaghetti monster” where cables connected to a network switch. On the right is the after picture of three categories of cables replaced through the rafters of a command building. (Photos by Sgt. 1st Class Michael S. Rivera-Wenger)
