A striped hyena observes visitors at the Discover and Aid Nature Refuge in Djibouti, Oct. 16. There are currently two striped hyenasa at the DECAN Refuge, named Lars and Suzie. The hyena is a master scavenger, capable of digesting things other animals cannot.
