U.S. Air Force Civil Engineers assigned to the 577th Expeditionary Prime Beef Squadron rest after a partial demolition the back portion of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Joint Operations Center located on Forward Operating Base Shank. The Air Force Civil Engineers consist of structural, electrical and plumbing specialists who often have worked in the construction industry for more than 10 years, often times have two or more construction degrees, and are self-employed - either owning or working in a family–run construction business.
