Chief-select Petty Officer 1st Class Jeremy Miller, a hospital corpsman assigned to 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), is officially promoted to chief petty to officer during a pinning ceremony, Sept. 16 at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. The chief petty officers’ pinning ceremony is a time-honored Navy tradition held since the rank was established in 1883.
