U.S. Army Spc. Shaju Ahmed, 1-161 Field Artillery, and Kenyan army Maj. Iman Rajab Athumani, Muslim chaplain, stop together for a photograph at the prayer tent here, Sept. 8. Maj. Athumani met U.S. armed forces chaplains at Camp Lemonnier to enhance partner nation capacity with religious and morale welfare. Throughout his three week visit here, Maj. Athumani met also with Muslims in U.S. armed forces and civilians to provide spiritual nourishment. Maj. Athumani has been Kenyan army chaplain for 11 years. Spc. Ahmed is from the Kansas National Guard.
