Kenyan army Maj. Iman Rajab Athumani, Muslim chaplain, sits down with U.S. Army Spc. Shaju Ahmed, 1st Batallion, 161st Field Artillery, Kansas Army National Guard, to give spiritual nourishment at the prayer tent here, Sept. 8. Maj. Athumani met U.S. armed forces chaplains at Camp Lemonnier to exchange best practices within the military chaplaincy. Throughout his three week visit here, Maj. Athumani met with Muslim U.S. service members and civilians to provide spiritual nourishment. Maj. Athumani has been a Kenyan army chaplain for 11 years.
