Medics with the 690th Medical Company, from Fort Benning, Ga., wait with a mock victim until the crew chief of a medevac helicopter motions them over at Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex, Aug. 21 during Vibrant Response 12.1, which is conducted by U.S. Army North and is the command's largest disaster response exercise to date. This multi-agency, multi-component exercise is intended to prepare federal military forces for their role in responding to a catastrophic Chemical, Biological, Radiological or Nuclear incident in the homeland.
