Lt. Col. Todd M. Caruso (center) and Lt. Col. Adam M. Musoff (right) await to receive the Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 2 colors from Sgt. Maj. Adam J. Moore at the VMAQ-2 change of command ceremony aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Aug. 12. During Caruso’s tenure VMAQ-2 has received the Secretary of the Navy 2011 Safety Excellence Award for 2011, the 2010 Naval Aviation Safety Award, and has been recognized for their actions for being attacked by Taliban insurgents during a deployment to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, in 2010.
