7th Fleet, Australian dignitaries visit Germantown

Seaman Apprentice Ulyses Moreno, boatswain's mate, waves off an MH-60S Sea Hawk carrying distinguished visitors as it departs from the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown. Commander, 7th Fleet Vice Adm. Scott Van Buskirk, along with his staff, the U.S. ambassador to Australia, and other U.S. military officials and dignitaries from Australia, visited the ship to tour the facilities. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A.D. Hull, is participating in exercise Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral command post and field training exercise designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between U.S. and Australian forces.
