Australian army Lt. Col. (chaplain) Phil Anderson of Headquarters 17 Combat Support Squadron Brigade, Randwich, Sydney, conducts Methodist services to sailors on board the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown. Anderson was one of two Australian military chaplains to visit the ship during exercise Talisman Sabre 2011 to tour and minister to sailors and Marines. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A.D. Hull, is participating in Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral command post and field training exercise designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between U.S. and Australian forces.
