Wounded Warrior Unit opens new renovation

Command Sgt. Maj. Marvin L. Hill, senior enlisted leader for International Security Assistance Force/United States Forces-Afghanistan, along with two members of KAF's Wounded Warrior Unit, cut the ribbon opening new renovations. The Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1, from Gulfport, Miss., constructed a new wood deck and covered rest area to provide ease of mobility and comfort for the wounded soldiers who are recovering there. NMCB 1 is deployed to Kandahar as part of Task Force Overlord. The task force, commanded by the 25th Naval Construction Regiment from Gulfport, Miss., is responsible for all construction engineering and engineering support in South and Southwest Afghanistan.
