Ice-covered areas are seen from above the Arctic Circle from the window of a C-5M Super Galaxy on a mission from Dover Air Force Base, Del., June 5, 2011. The C-5M's mission was to complete the first Arctic overflight from Dover AFB to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. The plane successfully landed at Bagram just over 15 hours later on June 6, 2011. Staff Sgt. Tyler Welsch, a C-5 flight engineer, was one of the crewmembers for the historic mission.
