Staff Sgt. Tyler Welsch, C-5 Galaxy flight engineer, climbs the stairs to a C-5M Super Galaxy, June 5, 2011, prior to departing for a direct delivery airlift mission through the Arctic Circle from Dover Air Force Base, Del., to Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. Welsch was one of 14 crewmembers who flew the mission. He is from the 9th Airlift Squadron at Dover AFB.
