Lance Cpl. Steven T. Smiley attempts to defend against getting rolled over by Cpl. Donte L. Ravenell during their practice in the wrestling room aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune May 9. Smiley is the only Cherry Point Marine who is on the All-Marine wrestling team and finished fifth in his first international wrestling tournament. “As a Marine this is my job now,” said Smiley. “So to continue to push the envelope in my wrestling career is not only a passion of mine but also a way for me to continue to give back to an organization that has done so much for me. This is my duty to the Marine Corps, and I am happy to serve them by doing something I absolutely love.”
