Hill, from Albuquerque, N.M., a preventive medicine technician with the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Detachment, Alpha Surgical Company, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward), collects larvae from a water puddle May 19, aboard Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. The crew collects larvae from multiple locations where they suspect insects will breed to gather data and prevent further reproduction and infection effecting service members operating in Helmand province in support of International Security Assistance Force operations.
