Soldiers of the 203rd Transportation Detachment give one final look to their family and friends as they begin their long journey to Kuwait aboard the Maj. Gen. Robert Smalls, Logistic Support Vessel-8. The LSV-8 is the largest and most powerful water vessel operated in the U.S. Army. Army watercraft of the 203rd TC Det. are equipped, manned and operated by the Army Reserve. The unit falls under the 359th Transportation Battalion out of Fort Eustis, Va.
